Chun Wang holds an LL.B. from Henan University and a professional master’s degree in law from Zhengzhou University.

A member of the Jiusan Society, Ms. Wang serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Economic Law Research Association of the Henan Law Society and sits on the executive councils of its Civil Law Research Association and Bankruptcy Law Research Association. She is also a master’s supervisor in law at Henan University of Technology and has been selected for the Henan Provincial Government’s roster of legal counsel professionals. She has been recognized as an Outstanding Lawyer of Zhengzhou.

Since commencing practice in 2005, Ms. Wang has focused on commercial dispute resolution, corporate governance, asset acquisitions and restructurings, distressed debt workouts, court-supervised reorganizations and liquidations, and general corporate advisory work. She has particular experience in major and complex commercial litigation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and business rescue, operational risk management, contract risk management, and investment and financing risk management. She currently acts as legal counsel to a number of large state-owned enterprises.

She helped develop a legal risk assessment framework for a major Sino-foreign joint venture, enabling the company to establish a comprehensive system for legal risk assessment, prevention and early warning.

Her team has handled nearly 100 matters involving corporate reform, asset acquisitions, debt restructurings, court-supervised liquidations and reorganizations. Drawing on its extensive dispute resolution experience, the team has helped dozens of companies secure financial benefits totaling several hundred million renminbi and avoid substantial losses.
